Moved to Los Angeles from Mexico City in 2002. She edited and translated no visible door: An Anthology of Contemporary Poetry by Mexican Women (University of Pittsburgh Press and Ediciones Sin Nombre, 2003) and a feature section on contemporary Mexican poetry for issue # 3 of the journal Aufgabe. Regularly She Translates the work of Dolores Dorantes, Cristina Rivera-Garza and Laura Solórzano. Recent Her books include a translation of excerpts from Dolores Dorantes’ PUREsexSWIFTsex (Seeing Eye Books, 2004), the chapbook lawless (Seeing Eye Books, 2003), slide rule (subpress, 2002), and The 3:15 Experiment (with Lee Ann Brown, Danika Dinsmore, and Bernadette Mayer, The Owl Press, 2001). Her next book, a collaborative effort with Patrick Durgin, will be published in 2006 by Atelos. Her poems and translations appear in recent issues of 1913, BOMB Magazine, Bombay Gin, damn the caesars, Indiana Review, Primary Writing, Tragaluz and War and Peace. She works as a professor and court interpreter, and is a founding member of the City of Angels Ladies’ Bicycle Association, also known as The Whirly Girls.

His next book, a project with colaborative Patrick Durgin, was published in 2006 by Atelos. His poems and translations have been published in recent issues of magazines 1913, BOMB Magazine, Bombay Gin, damn the caesars, Indiana Review, Primary Writing, Skylight, and War and Peace. He serves as professor and court interpreter, and a founding member of the Ladies Association bikes the City of Los Angeles, also known as the Beautiful Remolindas.
